Lower Kindergarten program:
At this age children prepare themselves for a formal school experience. The teacher thoughtfully plans the environment, offering many visible choices, based on the children’s skills and needs. The program involves reflective practices, encouraging free expression of ideas and possibilities with multiple outcomes. Our projects allow the LKG children to study a topic in more depth. Language is reinforced through letter sound relationship, introducing high frequency words, rhyming and three letter words. The LKG curriculum is constantly evolving in response to children’s strengths and needs. The teachers focus on an inquiry based approach to build curiosity and a genuine love for learning. The teachings are based on learning goals and an all-round development of milestones to meet the academic expectations of the elementary school standards, so that the children make a successful transition.
Admissions to Lower Kindergarten are based on seat availabilities.
